These images are an extension of my Major Photographic Project. I displayed the images on a computer screen and re-photographed them on my home made pinhole camera. They are all double exposures combining two of the original digital files. These have a completely different feel and move away from conventional beauty photography.

The images below form a part of my Major Photographic Project for my degree. They were inspired by the Wes Anderson film The Darjeeling Limited. In the film 500 elephants were hand painted onto the interior of the train by local Indian artists. This sparked the idea to use make-up to paint a models face like an Indian elephant. These were taken in the studio using two or three gel lights on the background, a large octabox on a boom arm to light the model and in some images a gold reflector. Originally I had six looks but these five were the most successful. These were shot over three days on a Mamiya and digital back.
